MY SONNET’S APPEAL

Will they be judging me if I declare?

My love for you still caged it can just peek

So curse this love they mock they say unfair

Like rascal’s love his right no way to speak.

This world of ours I just can’t understand

If rules were bent pariah I will be

My self in pain still they dictate demand

No guts, no shots this fear is eating me.

Yet it’s not them I want to grow old with

Defeat? I’m sorry I just can’t accept

The courage in me makes me live to breathe

For by your love no man to intercept.

If love be measured by the wrinkled line,

Then I shall taste the bitterness of wine.
